In short
The league of nations contributed to the outbreak of ww2 because it took the wrong actions and led Hitler to believe that he could get away with invading Poland!.
Examples to demonstrate this are the league had previously let him invade Czechoslovakia, Austria!.!.!.
The league of nations caused the war because Britain and France, its main members, declared war, not Hitler
Finally it could be argued that Britain was partly responsible for the war because of its policy of appeasement!. This led Hitler to believe that Britain was weak and wouldn't stand up to him!.
This contributed to the causes of the war because Hitler wouldn't have entered war with Britain and France until he was sure he was ready!.
Overall i have decided that the real blame for ww2 lies in many places!. It isn't one person or one countries fault!. It was partly Americas fault for not joining and supporting the league, its own idea!. It was Britain and France's fault, they actually declared war and because of their policy of appeasement and other actions in the years before WW2!. It was also Germany's fault, because of Hitler of course!.
