The Russian Revolutions of 1917 were revolts AGAINST something, as opposed to FOR something!. If you look at the American!. French and Indian independence movements you'll see that the major players were working towards a goal - independence and republic!. However the Russian Revolution was against the monarchy, led by the masses, without any real plan or goal for the future!. After successfully wresting control of the government away from the Czar the revolutionaries didn't know what to do next!. As they bickered, the Bolsheviks, led by Lenin, were able to seize control and enforce their will!. Lenin was one of the few men who had the name recognition, oratory ability, and intelligence/skills to build a nation!. In the French and American Revolutions there were dozens of men who had the skills, force of will, and ability to force intelligent discussion!. In the absence of leadership the people will follow the first guy to come along!. In 1917 Russia the first man was Lennin!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
