you must be a procrastinator like me!!!! (I'm 21 in college) where did these questions come from!? we must be united! I feel a lot of this information is important for your personal development as a citizen so I encourage you to seriously learn about this stuff!.!.!. you can't simply believe everything tought to you in schools, history is re-written by the victorious which means a lot of what you believe is a lie

ok, sorry to word vomit

why was the cuban Missile crisis considered a cold war conflict!?
russia gave nuclear weapons to cuba in the 60s because they wanted to be ready to kill the USA, Cuba accepted because the new leadership, under Fidel Castro, wanted to be sure that the USA would stay out of their affairs (there was a revolution in Cuba in the 50s that ousted the USA-friendly leaders
Russia had control over the missiles and with one push of a button, numerous nuclear weapons could have been sent to american soil, america would have had no choice but to launch back but of course neither side wanted this (research nuclear weapons and if this is a for a term paper, if you can include 'limited war' in your paper YOU WILL SCORE MAJOR POINTS)

as a result of the truman doctrine, in thethe late 1940s the u!.s sent more than ten billion dollars to!.!.!?
I dunno

"i believe it must be the policy of the u!.s to support frree people who are resisting attempt subjugation by armed minorities or by outside pressures"!.
harry s truman, speech to congress march 12 1947
what phase used by truman in the quotation best expresses his beliefes about the soviet union!?
-because of the coup and the "revolution" and truman's conservative pro-capitalist ways, he no doubt believed that the russian people were oppressed (which they were, among other things) by their new soviet government--- he wants to support the "free people" (because everyone is free and should fight their government if they aren't) he most likely meant that the situation in russia was shaky and that the government would be overthrown any time if only the people would rise against

mao and china bore me, so I cant help you with that, although in the future, they won't be boring so much as annoying, bad for our economy, and overall undeservingly proud of crippling the american economy

what organisation of the united nations has five permanent members!?
the UN security Council, I believe its USA, Britain, China, Russia, and France!.!.!. I could be wrong, with the 6th rotating member

this alliance that east germany belonged to and the west germany did not!.!.!.!?
East Germany was part of the Soviet Union's occupied lands, the dividing line in Berlin- Berlin wall!.!.!. blah blah blah

in what part of vietnam did the vietcong do most of their fighting!?what was it faught for!?
--hmm!.!.!. you mean what area of vietnam!? that's silly and irrelevant but I believe it was mostly southern vietnam, the north wanted to take over the south, or maybe the other way around, wikipedia it, but it was mostly guerilla warfare and the vc's escaped a lot because a- they had an excellent tunnel system (no joke, it was like an underground super highway) and b-us soldiers were ordered not to follow fleeing vc's (which is some really ridiculous strategizing on behalf of the us government)

leader- dunno, wikipedia knows

the theory that the fall of one nation to communism will lead to others to fall was known as!?
its called many things, I know it as red fever

president eisenhower was given power to send troops 2 vietnam as result to!?
stop the spread of communism, especially to other surrounding countries, and promote democracy

seriously though, you need to know about this stuff

the cold war is why 9/11 happened

just like the cuban missile crisis, we were trying to beat russia and the usa and russia used afghanistan as a battle- in afghanistan in the 70s a communist group overthrew the government with aid from russia, usa wanted to stop the spread of communism so we sent millions and weapons over to help the mujahideen, the islamic "holy warriors" (who believed communism was evil)
with our help the mujahideen fought the russian aided afghani communists and defeated them
afterwards, the usa and russia pulled out and stopped helping afghanistan- the country fell into chaos and then to the taliban came into power
bin laden, a member of the mujahideen who was in contact with the cia to receive aid, was pissed at what had happened to his country (afghanistan had been used! for usa's aims)
and down went the towers
but of course this information is always brought up, and why would it be!? too many people would be angry with the zillions of dollars the cia uses to **** over other countries

good luck!!Www@QuestionHome@Com
