Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
The government started demanding that the media ie televison, radio, newspapers, movies and magazines have a certain amount of "Canadian content" This limited the amount of American literature, movies television being brought into Canada and forced us to develop our own
canadian identity!.
The youth generation of Canada was the same as elsewhere in the Western World!. The huge number of babies born after WWII brought about a large number of young people being teenagers in 1960's!. Because of this demographic a lot of consumer goods were aimed strictly at that portion of the population!. This greatly influenced what people watched,
read, wore and talked about!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
