There are a few ways to do this!.!.!.!.
But the best way is a Mod!.

I suggest you try 'Stainless Steel' mod , it adds a few more factions , expands the map , adds a new campaing(late era) , and lets you picks optional stuff e!.g!. Mini mods that change when new events happen , adds a lot more historical events , changed recruit times and battle AI!.

All of these change the game completely , it feels like a completely new game!.
