What year did Buckingham Palace become a Royal Residence!?

Buckingham Palace (then much smaller and known as Buckingham House) was bought by King George III in 1762, for use as a family home by his wife, Queen Charlotte!.

Queen Victoria was the first reigning Monarch to use the Palace in its current form as an official working base for the Sovereign; she came to live at Buckingham Palace (from her home at Kensington Palace) in July 1837!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
