The importance of the time period was that they revolutionalised rock'n' roll by immitating these mentioned and others and in doing so came a sound of their own!. Their hairdos where "obscene" to many and many predicted they would be a "flash in the pan" An entire movement was created by the British invasion!. The Lennon/McCartney song writing team has gone down in history as one of the all time classic teams who's music even today is being play by musicains in nearly all genres and all points of the world!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
