Question: How did the development of christianity impact the development of the Roman empire!?

She can spell Christianity however she likes, get that stick outta your *** (sorry but you need to learn not everyone is going to share your religious views)!.

Christianity for one gave the Romans control!. If you unite such a huge empire under ONE God and one religion, you make it more of a unity, making it easier to control that territory!. During the age of polytheism, many people worshipped many different Goddesses and Gods on so many different locations that it just wasn't a unity!.!.!. by uniting all those people under one God, you gain power!. That was the function of the spreading of Christianity!. Wether with a capital or lower case C!.

Oh and dude above me; as for the "fall" of the Roman Empire!.!.!. you give us that exact date and you will know more than the most experienced historians!. The idea that a civilization 'ends' or 'falls' is very subjective and very much a fabrication of the human mind!. The most accepted theory, however, is that Antiquity ended and the Middle Ages started in the FIFTH century!. Marking that century as the century in which the Roman Empire in Europe 'fell' - for as far as you can call it falling!. You have a right to believe your 80 years theory but you'd be sticking your head in the sand!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
