Numerous reasons!.!.!.!. The french had been invaded by the english numerous times over the centuries causing dissatisfaction within the French nobelry and the french people!.!.!.The "Divine right" to rule the king believed he had may have upset influential politicians!.!.!.And most commonly noted is the fact the aristoriacy lived in splendor while the commoners starved to death and watched the king do nothing causing dissatisfactionWww@QuestionHome@Com

The main cause was the differences between the 3 estates of the time!. Those were the nobility, the clegry & the bourgeoisie (the wage earners or peasants)!.
