He was the right person at the right time but truthfully I think he is one of the most over-rated politician in the history of independent India!. Freedom was inevitable and the Britishers had no choice but to pack up and go home but in their impatience, Gandhi and others made a grave mistake in accepting the partition and creation of Pakistan!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

What gets me about the whole thing with the Brits and India, is that once the Brits get out after slaughtering thousands of Indians, the world court doesn't sanction England and punish it somehow!. The English leave because they can't handle India and control it and the rest of the world acts like, "well, England has a made mistake in invading that country, oh well!." when England should have been taken down as the cheap imitation of a civiliazation that it is and it's leaders put into cages!. I mean where was the outrage, except for Gandhi who used his outrage and reactions in a constructive way to solve the British problem, but when that was over, the Brits should have been strung up by their balls!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
