Yes, but not necessarily by name because I doubt they had ever heard that 20th CENTURY term!.

All the framers of the Constitution were professionals and/or business men so they were Capitalists and their views are all over the ConstitutionWww@QuestionHome@Com

As I recall, the part about the "pusuit of happiness" covers just about anything!. Capitalism was already an integral part of our nation when it was formed and although not mentioned directly, it is obvious that Constitutional rights include the right to seek profits and form companies to conduct business without interference!. We have obviously gotten away from this!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
