Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: The above answer is correct plus the fact that chldren had smaller hands and as result could put them in smaller areas such as in the looms they could be under the loom and reach up to pull out threads etc which an adults hand would be too big to do!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Because women and children were paid half of what men got paid, that simple!.Www@QuestionHome@Com |
