All we can go on is the evidence and I for one like to believe the evidence presented by Jack White!.

It COULD have been, but if it were it would be detectable by modern techniques!. Since the photo was published in the mid 1960's, any tampering would have had to be done before that time!. Digital manipulation wasn't available then, so analysis by digital techniques now would reveal the method used!.

Frankly, if anyone had used that method and discovered tampering there would have been mile high headlines proclaiming it!. So, it's unlikely that digital analysis showed any tampering!. Which pretty much shoots down the theory!.

Conspiracy theorists never ask the person who took them if she thought they were fake!. Marina Oswald was asked about them, and she admitted to taking them!. So the odd shadows are merely that - odd!.
