The early empire!? It was Rome's strongest point!. Without waiting for senate delegation, laws were passed much quicker!. The armies were more organized, since the State now controlled the Legions, rather than individual armies!. Julius Caesar and Caesar Augustus were both military geniuses!. And, crime was a lot lower in the empire than in the republic!. People in general were happier, with stronger economies and better employment rates!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

They were able to import plenty of food and other items at low cost from the conquered provinces, grant land and estates to Roman soldiers and citizenry in the newly acquired territories!. There was also an influx of slaves, and the recruitment of auxiliary soldiers from the conquered populations to help fight their wars !.Www@QuestionHome@Com
