why were japanese canadians interned during WWII!?

They basically were interned the same reason as Japanese Americans interned in the U!.S!.
There were only 10 internment camps in Canada, most in British Columbia!.

1)Because during the war of how Canada was fighting the Japanese, it was unclear if some of the immigrants were dangerous!.

2)Could be terrorists

3)Could turn against Canada because of the war, (considered a threat to Canadians)

Canada has recompensated with money, to survivors of these camps(about 21,000 each)Www@QuestionHome@Com
