Well, I don't know if he was terribly attractive to women outside the German people!. Certainly, for them, however, he was a celebrity, and many saw him as almost a Messiah!. You have to remember how downtrodden the German people were after WWI, and how humiliated!. Hitler rose to power talking about a German superiority (in racial terms), and of how Germany would soon once again take its place among the great nations of the world!. He also worked hard to bring affordable food and employment to the average German worker, and after the near starvation they had been through, he was certainly seen as offering salvation!. In addition, he was seen as a strong man, a decisive man, something which the Germans were culturally indoctrinated to desire (it hadn't been but 60 or so years since the ultimate German strong man, Bismark, had finally united the German people under one rule!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm guessing for the same reason he appealed to men!. Hitler had some kind of charisma and ability to charm people into following his evil ways!. also, he gave a vibe of total power and control, which can be appealing!. I believe most women were attracted to his power!. It still holds true today that no matter what the man's character!.!.!.women are attracted to money and status!. He was a man who was well known!.!.!.a woman who is by his side then becomes "known" and a person of importance just by who she associates with - example: Monica Lewinsky wasn't known until her association with Bill Clinton!.
