Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: India was in a state of political upheaval leaders such as Gandhi/Nehru/and Jenna were at the centre of calling for the Independence of India from the British empire their Had been riots and general civil unrest!.it was in these condition that Chandra Bose who called himself a freedom fighter for Indian Independence was persuaded ny Nazi agents that if he would raise Indian troops to fight against the British in ww2 that after the Germans had won ww2 they would grant Independence to India!.they promised him arms and money!.after WNW2 he was caught and hanged by the British!.India gained its Independence in1947 !.hope this helpsit is open to question weather he was an Indian patriot or a man of very poor judgement he was certainly very naive!.hope this helpsWww@QuestionHome@Com Read history!.Www@QuestionHome@Com which country!?Www@QuestionHome@Com |
