how did the spanish and the french interest in the new world differ!?

and how were english and dutch interests in the new world similar!?

Spanish sought to colonize, in Central America for example, to conquer other countries!. France, in Canada, for example, wanted to establish trading partners, to work with the locals, not to conquer them!.

The English looked to trade as their number one goal, as did the Dutch!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
