Question: I REALLY NEED ss HELP QUICK!!!!?

i am doing the Declaration of Independance as my turning point for my ss homework and we need three reasons why it is a turning point and i put the Proclamation as one!. why was the proclamation a turning point in US history!? PLEASE HELP!!! THANKS IN ADVANCE!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

The Revolutionary War commenced in 1775!. But at the time, people didn't know if they were fighting for their rights or for independence!. The Dec!. of Ind!. set a reasoning for the war that was being waged!.

It established the idea of individual rights in America!. Each American is equal and entitled to certain rights which no person should take away from them!.

It confirmed the notion that people control the government, not the other way around!. If the government no longer serves the people, the people not only have the right, but the obligation to replace it!. This is not a new idea, but here it becomes a commonplace idea!.
