fidel castro finished what the then president batista allowed (to occur) within cuba!. look, i'm gonna take a chance here and believe this is NOT a homework assignment 'cause if it is!.!.!.you are cheating and may just commit to plagiarism!. naughty, naughty and VERY illegal!. ok, so what we have is the spanish/american influence on the island since late 1800s and definitely with american presence after 1899!. the usa took cuba as its playground with total $$$ going to industry, casinos, govt and the cuban presidents!. batista wasn't the first but was certainly the last!. anyway, the money coming into the island went everywhere except the people and after a time, this got to be too much!. there were many revolutions on the island/nation but the biggest of all was the one beginning in 1955 and ended in 1959!. the industrialists & govt people were said to be surprised but if i wasn't, why should they - liars! this revolution was complete with real rebels, real guns and real issues to be solved!. batista fled on new year's eve with the cuban treasury as castro rolled into havana, dec!. 31, 1959!. this wasn't sudden but a conflict that took 60 years to 'happen'!. batista and usa fumbled the cuban ball and fidel didn't!. that simple! that exact! hope this helps but my motto throughtout life is that if you're going to do something, do it right or don't do it at all! if this is for your homework or essay, kindly reword my stuff and don't plagiarize me, ok!? i can and will get very upset!Www@QuestionHome@Com
