During the war Britain was not officially fighting for territorial gain, they were supposed to be above such things!. In the closed door peace negotiations at the end of the war, Britain got!.!.!.!.the German colonies in Africa (German East Africa, German Southwest Africa, Cameroon), the German 'concessions' in Shantung China, and Nauru island in the Pacific!. Australia in cooperation with Britain got German New Guinea, and the Bismark islands, and New Zealand got German West Samoa!.
