the history channel is great for that kind of stuff
there are things on the great depression and world war two and many more
they even had a short film on john adams and the declaration of independanceWww@QuestionHome@Com

You can also check out the History Channel!. They have a lot of "series" that go into historical events and things!. I've seen good ones by Peter Jennings on the Depression, World War II, the American Revolution, etc!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Go to PBS!.org and see what they offer!.
I know they have an entire series on the Civil War, one on World War II, etc!. Ken Burns has at least 4 available from them!. Even one on baseball!.
Then go to the Library and borrow what you want to see!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
