Question: Could someone help with the Cold War!?

So I wanted to know what roles Ronald Reagan, Mikhail Gorbachev, and George Bush had in ending the cold war!. Why did it end!? The cold war ended because people in berlin were against communism and broke down the berlin wall and none of the guards could do anything about it!.!.!.!. So communism fell and technically the soviet union feel apart and surrendered
