Pompeii question?

Question: Pompeii question!?

Pompeii was the only trade route between _________ and the sea!?!?!?!?
I remember reading about this but i can't remember the name!.
I'm pretty sure it starts with a C!.

Pompeii is not on the coast(as the comment above incorrectly states) it is some distance away from the coast, though it does have a good view of the Bay of Naples!.

Pompeii was not too far from the city of Capua, which was the chief city of the Campania district in ancient Roman times!. Capua played a significant role in the Roman trade in metal goods and pottery, small factories of the area manufactured vessels of silver, and these were distributed throughout the Empire!.

Pompeii!?!? Pompeii is on the coast and it was never a big trading town, it was too close to Naples!. Naples was the trading town in the area!. Pompeii was a resort town!. I think you are mistaken!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
