I have to do the reconstruction debate of the mid 1800's, this is not a full thorough assignment though!. I'll give you some questions how about that!? =] Between what years did reconstruction happen!? 1865-1877 What was the thirteenth amendment say!? Emancipation of all slaves What was the fourteenth amendment say!? That all people born in the USA are citizens and therefore have equal rights!. What was the fifteenth amendment say!? African-Americans can vote Under Lincolns plan, what did the southern states have to do to rejoin the union!? 10% of the population had to vote for it Under Johnson's plan, what did the southern states have to do to rejoin the union!? Over 50% of the population had to vote for it Why was the first civil rights act so hard to pass congress!?
