Question: Did anyone see the Stonehenge Decoded programme last night!?
Interesting programme, although I still don′t think that people dragged great stones weighing tons and tons, for over 40km simply because it would have taken for ever with just a few twines made into rope and a few hundred people!! I don′t know how they were erected, but really why oh why has no one succeeded in duplicating it somewhere as a test!?!? Like the pyramids I also can′t understand why this has not been duplicated either and left as an example of how it′s done!. And I′m not saying that aliens built them either!!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hi Rose!.
You will get no argument from me!. I agree!.
One time as part of a history assignment on Stonehenge I put forward my theory and was duly chastised and marked down!.
Simply because I questioned and refused to accept what was in the books!.
I believe the stones were already there!. Deposited there by Glaciers after the ice age!.

I did not watch the documentary but stones of that shape could have possibly been made from the left over material used to seal stones together if they had such a mixture at the time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Damn! I missed it, i meant to watch it but completely forgot! I thought that stonehenge dated back to the time of Wicca and stuff!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
