Question: Why didn't Hitler offer the same treatment to his political prisoners that he got, like the cushy berth in!.!.!.

Why should Hitler have done so !? Hitler was raised to believe that punnishment should be harsh & unrelenting!. Hitler wanted his enemies to suffer!. Hitler beleieved that his enemies ought to suffer!. Hitler imagined himself to be the Super-Man (not the American comic book version) the man annointed by Fate to lead Germany back to Greatness therefore Hitler's enemies were Germany's enemies!.
And then there was the Himmler factor!. Himmler was the actual architect of the concentration camp system!. ALbeit following Hitler's orders but it was Himmler who set up the camps and issued orders as to the treatment of prisoners!. Much of the harsh treatment was meant to cripple their spirits to crush prisoners emotionally!.
It ought to be noted that both Hitler and Himmler's fathers were reputedly harsh disciplanarians who inflicted emotional as well as physical pain upon their children!.
