What would the Americas be like and the world if the South would have won the Civil War!? What would have happend in WW1 and WW2!? Would they have even happend!? Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: What would America be like if the South had won the Civil War!? The whole point of the war was that the South wanted to secede from the North!. Had they won, they would have seceded and there would have been a Confederate States of America and a United States of America, composed of the Northern States!. Would WW1 and WW2 have happened had the States separated!? Of course!. Both the wars were declared and had been fought for several years before the US joined in!. So it would have made absolutelly no difference at all whether the the US was one country or two!. As to whether the North or the South would have stayed with the Allies or joined the Germans, that's a pretty far stretch of the imagination!. It's easier to suppose that both countries would have joined with the Allies, as they both had far more in common with the Allies (which, don't forget, included Canada) than they did with any of the Axis forces!.Www@QuestionHome@Com If the South had won the Civil War, we would have two seperate nations in the area currently occupied by the USA!. We may have reunited the USA with the Confederacy by 2008, but they may still be two distinct soverign nations!. I don't know if WWI or WWII would have played out differnetly b/c America was reluctant to enter either war and only did so after being "left no choice" and much persuasion!. If the USA (the North) and the Confederacy (the South) were enemies, they may have chose to join opposite sides during the Great Wars!.Www@QuestionHome@Com A land divided is subject to all the problems Europe faced in those two wars!.I would like to believe that Americans , both north and south would have fought for the freedoms of others!. Neither north or south would have allied themselves with Germany!.The south would not have lasted in the agricultural world that slavery allowed them !. Pressures from other countries would have forced them to establish a government not unlike the federal government with a stronger central government then would have been needed in the 1860,s!. I would have thought that a merger of these cw parties would have occurred before WW1, the north and south would have be united against tyranny!.Slavery would have died out as the need for hand labor was replaced by machinery, in other words it wouldn't be much different today!.Www@QuestionHome@Com The south didn't take part in the wars!? Only the north!. As far as I know!. Yes the wars would have happened as they had nothing too do with america!. The wars started because of something that happened in Austria!. The south im sure would have stayed out of all wars!. The reason they started the civil war is because of slavery, so there are alot of circumstances that should be appreciated there!.
