Question: British history!?
I have a British Hisotry test tomorrow, it's a really important one! and the Parliament Act and the 1910, 1911 elections might be on there!. But I can't understand the notes the teacher gave us, its from an old text book and has complicated writing!.
So can someone tell me-

Why did prime Minister Asquith call an election in 1910!?
Why was their another in 1911!?
What does this have to do with the Parliament Act!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Asquith called an election in 1910 because there was a lot of disagreement about how money should be raised!. Some wanted a new land tax that the rich didn't like!. Others wanted a tariff on imports!. Many thought that the Lords had too much power and wanted a Constitutional change!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
