I don't think he was named, he was referred to as the soothsayer!.

This great and powerful man was warned on several occasions that he would be killed on March 15th!. The soothsayer warns Caesar to "beware the ides of March!."Www@QuestionHome@Com

A soothsayer!. According to Shakespeare, he told Caesar 'Beware the Ides of March!.'
Caesar replied, 'The Ides of March are come!.'
To which the soothsayer replied, 'Aye, Caesar, but not passed!.'
And that's without looking it up!. Not bad!. since I haven't read the play since I was 16 and I'm now 64!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
