The US did not invade anywhere

Some Cuban exiles organised a landing in the so-called "Bay of Pigs" - and completely botched the operation!.

I know the US is "supposed to have" supported this venture- but somehow I fail to believe how the same people who organised D-day, Okinawa, and thousands of successful landings culminating with Inchon could have botched such a landing with schoolboy errors (like placing all the ammo in one ship)Www@QuestionHome@Com
