ah, my favorite, that is next to napoleon!. in my overall readings and understandings of julius, he never expressed any fears but being human, he must've had one, maybe two!. i do believe he feared his invincibility, whether he expressed this or not and that is what did him in!. had he been more fearful of 'friends' and those who he knew didn't like him, he might've been more vigilant on march 15th, 44bc!. julius had been though so much, survived where other failed (and died), by the time he reached 50, he honestly thought nothing could touch him or that he couldn't 'handle' or explain!. julius wasn't a fool, though, and did believe in the gods, fate and things beyond human knowledge!. by the time he named himself emperor for life, thus immortality, he felt his life was in the hands of the gods!. if he had any misgivings, he cast them aside!. he didn't have a death wish but understood that should he die, his place was assured with the immortals!. any fears he might've had were left along with caution that any real mortal would've practiced!. face it, though!. his life, times, accomplishments and untimely death has made him the very immortal he so desired!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Perhaps Julius Caesar (spelling counts) feared living a quiet life in Rome and not being remembered in history!.

He spent much of his life in other countries and referred to himself as being descended from the first kings on his mother's side and from the gods on his father's!. He spent and borrowed money to further his political aspirations and shortly after he became dictator issued coins with his likeness on them!. He also renamed the month Quintilus to Julius after himself!.

Caesar was an extremely interesting man and his actions show that he wanted to be remember in history!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

As he died he rearranged his toga, so he probably was afraid of dying without dignity!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

What do you mean!? That's a very broad question, as he probably feared Rome being burned to the ground, as well as a huge dragon eating him!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
