I'm looking for some famous women from these countries:
Austria
China
Italy
Poland
America(Though I might do Eleanor Roosevelt)
Russia(Maybe Tzarina Alexendria)
Britain(Margaret Dawson!?)
France
The time period is going to be from around the time when Tsar Nicholas was overthrown, to the aftermath of WWII, but not the Cold War!. I'm looking for women who were interesting, like Sadako(Japan) and Eva Braun(Hitler's wife)!. Someone I can write a story about!. They don't have to be famous, but I need information about them and a source site!.

So many options!. If you look ONLY at women who were involved in fighting (as opposed to someone's wife or mistress), here are some names to consider:
--Violette Szabo!. Britain!. Executed at Ravensbruck Concentration Camp by the Germans after being tortured and raped!.
