Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I'm not sure, but there's this theory that jack did his work for some important dude in England who actually liked prostitutes!. It's also in the movie "From Hell"!. You might wanna watch it, it's great!. ;-)Www@QuestionHome@Com "The Ten Bells" pub opposite Spitalfields Market in London is the pub where Jack the Ripper most likely drank and chose his victims!. Between 'jobs' the prostitutes would go into the pub to drum up business or display their wares outside the pub!. The pub still exists to this day, and has a memorial board to the victims!. Its a grimey little place but one of the best pubs in london! Still with lots of original features!. It briefly changed its name to "The Jack the Ripper" in the 70's but has since been changed back to "The Ten Bells"!.
