The 1950's were a period of change!. how did stuff such as new technologies, the rise of consumerism, and the emergence of a pop culture in tv, music, and movies change america and how did these changes come about!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Prosperity was the driving force of the 50's and beyond!. World War 11 had left America as the strongest and richest Country in the World while much of Europe, Russia Japan and China were in ruins while the American Continent was nearly untouched by the war!.
America's Industry was built and manned and ready to power the new America that was to emerge in the future!. New houses, cars, clothing with new languages, experiences and massive coming of age phenomina was ready to explode across the American Continent!.
TV was introduced during the 50's!. Music was created and powered by radio in way only mass production discovered and used during WW11 could have accomplished!.
The United States stood as the leader of the Free World and we were respected, admired and even liked by people in many places in the world!. A whole new catalog of events, languages, cultures, products and you name it were at our finger tips, and we made use of all of it in the next twenty years!.
The American attutide about itself was flying high as a result of the total end of the Depression and the beginning of an America introduced to the World, a Government reshaped and modern by the New Deal, and an Ameica trusted by millions of people inside and outside America!.
We were on the way and nothing seemed it would ever stop us!.
