1)!. Steam engine!. Richard Trevithick was responcible for creating a more powerful version of engines that already existed!. The development of steam engines spans over a century, with several people responcible for improvements!.
Cotton spinning machines, like the Spinning Jenny created by James Hargreaves!.

2) Positive effect!. More efficient use of manpower, increased availablility of products and goods for consumer use, the shifting of wealth even further from the nobility into commoner hands as industrialists began creating wealth!. As people moved to the jobs, cities grew(something both good and bad!. More culture, arts, pollution, disease, and improved transport methods)
Negative effects!. The exploitation of the labor force, especially children!. Poor living conditions for workers who frequently lived in cramped, squalid quarters!. The rise of "Robber Barons" who sometimes weren't satisified with making a good profit, but would do anything it took to maximise those profits no matter who was harmed!. The pollution affected not just the cities, but the water, and is an issue even today!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
