I saw a story on y! news that caught my eye a few minutes ago!. Thi is fascinating to me, about an "uncontacted" tribe in Brazil!. I went to 6 years of college and I never heard anything like this, LOL!. Go figure!. Who are these tribes!? What does uncontacted mean!? Do they speak modern languages!? Are "regular" people just not allowed inside where they live - will they kill visitors on site!? I saw some in the pictures with bow and arrows! Are there children living in the tribes and this may sound dumb, but how can the kids be monitored be allowed not to go to school!. Thank you!.

Uncontacted means just that!. They have been so self contained that they have no experience with the "modern" world!. And all these questions you have about them can't be answered, because no one knows anything about them!. There have been no cultural studies and no research done on them because we either didn't know they were there or we left them alone!. Most likely they do not speak a modern language, but their own language!. The might kill you on sight because you are something they have never seen before, just like they were trying to attack that stupid helicopter!. People still do use bow and arrows, and lot of tribes do actually!. And of course there are kids there!. We don't have unknown tribes in America, but in South America and places like it, they don't enforce the law on tribes like this!. They are uncontacted, so they don't have any sense of the world or government or school or even their geography!. They have their own system, and hopefully wont be ruined by modern society!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
Just to add another reason not to contact them (besides not wanting to see them ending up living on the charity of the government like the other 'civilised' tribes), they have had no contact with our illnesses and can be killed by a single man with a cold!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
