The French revolution started because the rich and the middle class were not helping the poor get out from being poor!. As the early days of the revolution came there were financial problems because Louis XVI spent tons of money on his family and they didn't care for the poor!. So after he got killed the ministers found out that they didn't have any money for stuff and all hell got loose!. Funds were raised by taxes that the ministers had to place on goods and materials!. Thats why people riot when bread goes expensive!.

Basically Louis XVI didn't look out for the people fo France and it led to his downfall as King!. The monarchy of the Bourbons dynasty was demolished!. The people beheaded him, his sons and wife!. Revolution was igniated by the King not caring for his people and for having too many taxes imposed upon stuff!. As well there voice in the government was overruled by a majority of the other two classes!. All of this led to the end of the Republic and a change of governemnt in france!.

For more info go to wikipedia for the French revolution if you don't feel like reading it from your textbook, a lot of stuff to learn from this revolution because evrything keeps changing until Napoleon takes over!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, to over-simplify, the French nobility had spent extravagantly (such as Louix XIV's Palace at Versailles), and the only way to raise more money was to tax the peasants more and more heavily!. As the "poor got poorer" resentment against the nobility grew!.

The French Revolution was a complex situation, but one of the most important events in European history!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

b was higher taxes which caused more farms to fail which lead to more hunger and more discontent
which then lead to c which will happen when you have a large population that can not feed themselves and they hear about extravagance at the palace!. they give money to the king so he can party and have large feasts!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The noble thing to do is raise fresh funds to lead the
revolution, and the gold and money troubles!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
