FDR was very dedicated to his beliefs, NOT this country!. He almost single handed was responsible for the Cold War and the enslavement of millions of Europeans by Communist Russia even after promising Poland that she would be free!. It is true that he died before all of this happened, but He was the one that empowered Stalin and Truman was too cowardly to renege!.

The Mose Dedicated was George Washington, before he became president was offered the post of "king" and his Army Officers offered to take over the country for him to rule!.!.!. he refused!.

After two terms, he voluntarily gave up the office so as not to be thought a monarch of some sort!. Even his arch enemy, The King of England stated that Washington must be the greatest man who ever lived to give up such power when it was to be handed to him like that!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would say FDR as he was in his fourth term and died on the job!. He did a lot to change this country and made tough decisions to guide us through WWII!. I didn't agree with a lot of them but I believe he felt he had our country's best interests at heart!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
