It was world-wide!. If you can find old history books, you'll see that these practices were also carried out in places such as Brazil!.

In some of these older books you'll see where their properties where taken by the government without compensation!. One that sticks in my mind was a small store with a for sale sign on it and a larger one that said "I'm an American too!."

I think this is a dark period of American history that is often glossed over by the government!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you're asking about which Japanese-Americans were round-up, I think the Japanses-Americans were round up throughout the U!.S!.

I mean, you have to think, after Pearl Harbor most everyone in the U!.S got hysteria thinking that the Japanese-Americans were spys for Japan and so forth!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

There was a story I just read called "Tallgrass" I can't recall the author's name offhand but it was about some people who lived in Tallgrass, CO and one of those camps was right next door to them!. It was a novel, but I think it was pretty accurate!. If you are interested in this subject, read that book!.

They were in several of the Western states, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Idaho, Colorado, California, Oregon I think and maybe Washington!. There is a map that has the locations on it!. This link is for the site with the map:

It was all over the U!.S!. They were shipped to the west coast for internment!. It was as much for their safety as for our security!. People here were very angry at Japan and any Japanese people!. They might have taken it out on any Japanese, even American born!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
