One of the best fighting forces, both mobility wise and strength wise, to this day!.

They were very arrogant - they thought nothing could stop them, until they met the Huns that is!.

They eat strange yet wonderful delicacies, like stuffed rat!. Not many people eat things like that today - without squeeling!.

They had public baths - 99% of ours are private (not including the swimming pool, just cleaning tubs)!.

They believed in hundreds of gods, and if they thought a thing deserved to have a god, they would just make one up and dedicate a temple to her/him!.

They were exceptionally patriotic and almost every Roman man wanted to fight for the empire - either politically or literally!.

They made many enemies, with great ease!.

They had the third biggest empire to have ever been established on Earth!.

They were extremely superstitous!.

They founded part of their city on marshland, and managed to dredge the land - sophisticated technology for so long ago!.

Their roads were unmatched until the 18/19th Century!.

They had loads of characteristics; that's just a few for your :)!. One thing I can never get my head around though is why the civilisations that followed the Romans didn't take technology and ideas off the Romans!. If technology kept advancing at a similar rate, we probably would be in flying cars and manipulating time by now, or something incredible!.

Anyway, I hope I helped :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
