But in my opinion, some guy was feeling a little "small"!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com You see there was this new Wal-Mart opening up in a cave along the Idaho River and Sam decided that he needed some new merchandise to market to the locals!. Rock, club and spear sales had slowed significantly because, well, pretty much every modern cave dweller already had them!. Sam was in a real mess, stockholders were screaming because sales were slow, Costco was taking a lot of business, (especially bulk sales in clubs) and things needed to change or Sam could easily find himself tied to an angry sabretooth tiger by disgruntled stockholders!. Finally Sam had an epiphany!. All those cave dwellers smelled so bad!. The fur carcass's they wore hardly ever got washed and, well, between you and me, they got pretty ripe after six or seven months of continuous wear!. Sam decided that what the cave dwellers needed were new clothes, so, Sam invented clothes!. To this day, his stockholders pay him homage every year on national Sam Day by buying new clothes at their local Wal-Mart!. Now you know the story!.Www@QuestionHome@Com This is a two part answer: (1) When we evolved and lost the majority of hair covering our body, the cool temperature really affected us!. We are warm blooded and can not maintain a warm temperature without additional warmth and since we can't lay in bed cuddling all day long we solved the problem!.!.!.hence clothes!. (2) As camouflage when hunting so animal couldn't see them!. We would kill an animal them put it's skin/fur on us!.Www@QuestionHome@Com im sure they were seeking warmth!.
