Music of a time always reflects the culture of that time!. Songs of the 1960s were about (soft) drugs, the Vietnam war, and the beginnings of sexual freedom!.

were about sexual freedom and the freedom of travelling the country!.

It didn't really follow convention!. Many of them couldn't read music and just made it up as they went along!. Even the Beatles followed, mostly, traditional music convention which is not true of some of these other hippies!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
