No kidding!.!.You think!?

World Domination and converting the Entire World and Human Race to Communism was pretty much a stated goal of The former Soviet Union!. About the only thing that stopped them from achieving these goals for nearly 50 years was the Military might of the United States!. What do You think the Cold War was all about!?

It was, in My opinion, one of the most fortunate things that ever happened in all recorded Human histosry when Ronald Reagan forced them to spend thier economy right into the grave in the 1980's

I can't say that the New Russia is terribly friendly all around these days either, what with thier support of those wackos in Iran and the recent Bomber Flights off America's coasts!.

If We hadn't "interefered" in other countries as much as We did then right now You'd be going around saying "Comrade" an awful lot and paying Your monthly Party dues!. If everyone in the World had an attitude like You then either Hitler or Stalin would have run the whole show!.

Thanks for the Thumbs Down while Your at it!. The truth hurts don't it!?

Yes ! A dictatorship as despotic and inhuman as the nazi power was!. Soviets killed many innocents during the 70 years when they ruled Russia and then East Europa!. And they wanted to spread communism over the world too!. But USSR collapse is less a victory of West than a side effect of the disastrous economic impact of the 1986's Tchernobyl blast!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

yes socialists have always had a strong base in the west dating back to the revolutions of 1848 or even further i guess because it is the classic struggle after conservatism(kings and monarchys) between the middle class (social democrats) and the lower class(socialists who want to obviously wanted to redistribute wealth because they were so poor)!. France is full of socialists even really today and all over western Europe socialism had roots i mean look at the social welfare policies put into place in England , France, etc after WWI and WW2!. This is not communism but it is moveing closer and closer!. Europe didn't transform into the pure free trade capitalistic society until really the 80s with the EEC and eventually the European Union!. This excludes the U!.S but there were supporters of socialism and communism in the U!.S hence both red scares!. So yes there was a threat i should hope so considering we fought the Korean and Vietnam War and funneled probably trillions of dollars to stop the spread of communism through containment, and WE WON lol!.

We appreciate the social commentary person before me but that has nothing to do with the question

and yes Dark Metal Lord Ronald is one of the best men of all time lol
