Well, if it was a communist society, it would have evolved beyond a state, but I'll take it the way you probably mean it - a transitional state with a socialized economy!.

That would definitely be the one for me!.

I have some minority ancestors!. I am not wealthy!. So a fascist state would be an immediate threat to my life if it followed the Nazi racist mold, and a long-term threat to my health and happiness if it were one of the other varieties!.

Even a Stalinist-run socialized economy, as opposed to a genuine Marxist democracy, would be a better place for me to live!. As long as you don't challenge their political dictatorship, they pretty much leave you alone, and you get social services!.

Of course, I DO have a big mouth, so who knows how long I could go without challenging some local poobah, or being overheard criticizing a national one!.

But either genuine Marxist democracy OR Stalinist-run dictatorship, I'll still take the one with the socialized economy!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

to be honest, either one would be fine for me, as long as neither was authoritarian, or tyrannical!.
Just stating communist or fascist gives very little details about how life would be!.
A classless stateless society wouldn't be all bad, as long as freedom of religion and expression was not suppressed, and you didn't have to give up the right to own an acceptable amount of private property!.

On the other hand, a government essentially ruled by corporate conglomerates(fascism) wouldn't be all that bad either if they allowed the same freedoms, and did not persecute people based on race, religion, or sexual orientation, and didn't suppress freedom of expression!.

So to prejudge what kind of communist system, or what kind of fascist system you are speaking, would beassuming far to much that may or may not be accurate!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I can not imagine living in any way except a republic- (freedome excpect some laws so we have a book to go by instead of a lynch mob)!. I think if McCain gets in office we will eventually end up with an Oligarchy state which is where a group of rich people control everybody else!.!.!.I am not into being controlled by others which is what Fascist & communist govs!. are about!. I get called this names allot because I am a dem!. I just want fair laws & a little insurance which is what welfare is which is if a person can't take care of themselves everyone puts money in so the person who can't work claims it until they can, if they can!. If I have to choose, I'd go communist-at least I would have health care and a job!. Under the Fascists the company owners and the elites got even fatter, the poor got some roads and a ticket to the front!.

My IDEAL society would be an anarcho-syndicalist commune of two hundred people or so in an agarian setting!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Me - neither one and never will!. Reading these answers show just how stupid people in American have become!. I'm with the guy above that said he would like in the woods! In both Fascist and Communist states, the few benefit at the expense of the many!. Look at North Korea, Cuba, and other countries!. You want that!? I was born and lived in the USSR!.
Except for the goods deficit, I can not remember anything wrong!.
