i would have to say the increasing power of the federal gov't over the years!. the civil war would be one example, the declaration of independence says it is the right of the people to alter of abolish the gov't, yet the gov't didnt allow that to happen!. also during the great depression, how fdr greatly increased the power of the president, these are just 2 out of the countless examplesWww@QuestionHome@Com
