Both sides certainly had it rough, as have many other groups throughout history!. However, blacks had two things the Jews did not have!. The first was the hope of returning to their homeland!. The blacks could always hope, because their homeland was still open to them!. The Jews had no real hopes of that, for their homeland was taken over by others!.

The second thing the blacks had was a chance to escape their lot in life!. Many slaves were able to escape to the North (not enough, but still many did)!. And after the Civil War, there has been over 100 years of racism!. The Jews in the Holocaust had virtually no chance of escape!. The end result was death and they knew it, deep down inside!.

Let's face it, the Jews had everything bad the blacks had, and then more!. Blacks were slaves, Jews were slaves!. The difference was the blacks worked long hours until they got too old!. Many were then given easier jobs, but still died slaves!. For the Jews, they worked long hours until it came time to KILL them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Slaves and Jews were taken from their homes at the power of wrong people!.

Slaves and Jews were put to harsh work under extremely harsh circumstances!.

Slaves AND JEWS were either KILLED or TORTURED by the people who put them under their power because of who they are!.
We are ALL the same under
genocide!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I really don't think this is a healthy question to be asking!. We should really just acknowledge the atrocities of both and learn what we can from the suffering that occurred!. Does it really matter, in the long run, who had it worse!? It was awful for those involved and both experiences have had an incredible effect on the modern world!. It seems childish to sit around trying to make that judgement when it really isn't ours to make!. All we can do is live with the consequences as best we can!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The slaves had things pretty rough, for sure, but how can anything be tougher than to be a death camp victim!? Being killed because of your heritage!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
