The South African ones form part of national parks or heritage sites!. The Karanga-Rozvi traded with the Far East and Northeast Africa as rtefacts have been uncovered from these regions during excavation!. Mapungubweans (for lack of better word, apologies) were skilled goldsmiths!. The site was excavated in the 1930s by the Transvaal Museum!. It is believed that the Modjadji Dynasty of sovereign Queen-chiefs, alleged to posess the power to make rain, made famous by the Rider Haggard novel "She", are decended form the Karanga-Rozvi!.
