What are those ruins that are visible as symbols from the sky?

Question: What are those ruins that are visible as symbols from the sky!?

I'm doing a school project, and I need to know the name of the civilization that supposedly built these structures!. I don't have any pictures, but from what I remember they resemble dirt mounds when on the ground, but when looked at from above, in an airplane or other means of air travel, they form pictures (eagles, lizards, etc!.)

They're called the Nazca Lines, and they are across a huge swath of Peru!. They were built by the Nazca people who lived there from around 300 BCE to 800 CEWww@QuestionHome@Com
