Positive Education for the workers became necessary, an uneducated worker would be less able to operate a machine!. The education allowed the proletarian masses to read and understand their rights (human and politic) – the discontent that was caused led, in time to real democracy, rather than the oligarchical form that preceded it!. Negative Many workers, especially in agriculture and weaving, lost their jobs and were forced to move to cities to find work!.
